How to Transfer a Ticket
Customer-facing transfers are a convenient way to send tickets directly to friends or colleagues. Please note that this feature is only available if enabled by the event organizer.
- Access Your Account Page: Log in to your Elevent user account and go to your account page. You can do that here: Account Overview
- Select Your Events: Click on the "Your Events" tab.
- Identify Upcoming Events: Under the "Upcoming Events" section, you'll find a list of your tickets.
- Initiate Transfer: Locate the ticket you wish to transfer and click the blue "Transfer" button next to it. This will open a transfer ticket dialog box.
- Enter Recipient Details: * Provide the email address of the person you want to transfer the ticket to.
- Include a message to the recipient if you'd like.
- Confirm Transfer: Click on the "Confirm Transfer" button. You'll receive a notification once the transfer is successful.
Important Transfer Details
- The ticket will remain in your account until the recipient claims it through their email.
- The recipient will receive an email titled "Organization Name - Claim Ticket Event Name" and must click the button within the email to claim the tickets.
- If the recipient doesn't have an Elevent account, they will be prompted to create one to claim the ticket.

Can’t see the transfer option? If the "Transfer" button does not appear after following these steps, the event organizer may have disabled customer-facing transfers for that specific event. In this case, please contact the event organizer directly for assistance.
